For me, flying has changed the way I see the world. From high above, the chaos of crashing waves becomes patterns, textures and movement. The coastline transforms into abstract art, revealing details that are impossible to appreciate from the ground. This piece is inspired by those moments in the air, where the landscape feels both vast and beautifully calm.

Created using layers of resin, acrylic and sculptural texture, the artwork recreates the movement of the ocean from an aerial perspective. The glossy resin catches the light throughout the day, causing the sea to shimmer and sparkle just like sunlight dancing across the water. As the light changes, so does the artwork, giving it a depth that photographs can never truly capture.
